We stock rubber sheet roll sizes in 1.5mm, 3mm, 4.5mm and 6mm, which are ideal for gasket production. For other applications, thicker rubber sheets of 12mm, 20mm and even 25mm thicknesses are also available. In either case, custom lengths can be ordered, ensuring you receive the size you need.
Neoprene rubber sheet is a synthetic rubber material made from a polymer called chloroprene. It possesses excellent physical properties, making it suitable for various industrial and commercial applications. Neoprene is known for its durability, flexibility, and resistance to various conditions, such as temperature fluctuations, chemicals, oils, and UV light.
Nitrile, although very similar in appearance to natural rubber, is a more complex material compound. Unlike natural rubber, Nitrile rubber is resistant to oils, grease and many chemicals. Because of these properties, it is the material of choice for O ring and seal manufacturers. Nitrile rubber sheeting is also widely used in producing cable jackets and hosing.
With First Mats, you will find a large and diverse range of products that all contain large amounts of rubber, so expanding into rubber sheeting was a clear choice for us to support our customers' needs further.
You can expect first-class support from our experienced team, who will always help with any enquiry you may have. Free samples are also available for all of our sheet rubber, allowing you to see and feel them before purchasing.

Rubber sheets are used in a broad spectrum of different industries, for an equally broad range of reasons. Rubber is a particularly useful material in many manufacturing use cases because it is cost effective and versatile. Whatever your business makes, read on for our guide to the most common types of rubber sheeting and the different features of each. What are the common types of rubber sheeting Standard Natural Rubber If you are manufacturing gaskets or seals that do not need to be particularly resistant to extremes of temperature or to oils and chemicals, then natural or standard rubber sheet...
If you want a cover that can simply be wiped clean, vinyl seems to have replaced rubber as a lightweight, inexpensive, effective mattress protection. Not only do these vinyl covers protect your bed from urine, but other fluid spills, dust mites and bed bugs.
A fitted vinyl cover protects the top and sides, whereas a zippered cover protects all surfaces of the mattress and is necessary for dust and bed bug protection. It is also handy if you're storing a mattress for any length of time.
A heavy duty 6G vinyl is worth a few more dollars because it is thicker, less apt to tear and will last longer. The disadvantage of using a rubber or vinyl cover is that it doesn't allow the body heat to dissipate so some users report that they sweat more in the nighttime unless another absorbent mattress pad is used on top.
A newer, more high-tech polyurethane mattress cover is breathable and more comfortable for sleeping. With a terry-cloth top bound to the waterproof polyurethane layer, this cover can even be slept on directly. Available in both a zippered and a fitted style, this lightweight and durable cover can be laundered in the same load as the sheets. Backed by an amazing 10-year warranty, these covers are designed to last!

Articles The benefits of rubber and foam sheetingThe benefits of rubber and foam sheetingRubber sheeting can be used in a variety of industrial sectors and applications, including the automotive, defence and marine trades. In our latest article, PIF picks the brains of elastomer experts Monomer for some of the benefits of rubber sheeting for your business.
There are various types and materials of sheet rubber. Your basic rolls of rubber sheeting will typically be 5m or 10m long, depending on the thickness of the material. Elastomer experts, Monomer, stock a wide range of sizes and thicknesses, making them the ideal solution for all types of rubber sheeting.
One of the most celebrated advantages of rubber sheeting (and other sheeting materials, such as foam) is its versatility. For instance, it can be cut into different standard designs, such as pads, gaskets and washers. It can also be used as a protective sheet layer to cover a surface, such as on work surfaces in the industrial or commercial industry. Or it can be used as a lining.
Suppliers of rubber sheeting, Monomer, stock solid rubber sheeting in a range of materials, from commercial grades and BS (British Standard) specifications, through to military specifications. They can supply a broad selection of materials, across a range of thicknesses, which are available to purchase directly from their online store.
In addition to the variety of general use foams we offer, we sell specialized foam products too. These products are differentiated by their closed cellular rubber structure, which creates a strong, high quality and affordable option with a wide range of potential uses, including: 781b155fdc
