This book presents Ravnica, an alternate history of the plane from the perspective of the magicians (Wizards of the Coast, 2011). It includes history, explanation of the planar geography, tips on running stories on Ravnica, and lots of details about the guilds, regions, and in-game adventures. It is well-crafted and interesting. Unlike Ravnica: City of Pesky Planes, Ravnica: City of Guilds is a rules-light, scenario-focused book. It is a good entrance into the world of Ravnica. Ravnica: City of Guilds features a few rulings that contradict the playtest edition of the game, but it is a good entry point for any new players. It is well-researched and supported by a large FAQ section.

I used the normal ubuntu install program (google it) and it was easy to use. Walked me through step-by-step, everything up to the point of actually installing the game. Then picked up the steam key and made the game available to the Steam public via Software Library. Done.
I used the script linked to from your original post, I needed to change the script because it was pointing to the wrong location in the script folder. (the script does this to record some path information to the steam client for steam, it doesn't always work correctly) Here are the changes I had to make to the script. change: d2c66b5586
